Prayer Meetings

OECT believes that prayer is the foundation and means to connect with God. Prayer is a tool through which we find where true life comes from i.e., Jesus Christ, and connect with Him. Hence, as a community of believers, we must remember the prayer Jesus prayed for his church: ‘Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.’ John 17:3. Prayer is taking the whole armor of God and is a fundamental weapon for defeating our enemies (Eph. 6: 12-13) and bringing an extraordinary change in the life of people.

Based on these biblical foundations, the prayer group of OECT organizes and leads the prayer services of the congregation; organizes prayer topics, and brings forward to the members to pray on. The prayer group of OECT shall organize and conduct congregational prayer meetings every Sunday, and additional prayer days during the week for members of the congregation and other fellow Christians.
