Children and Youth Ministry
OECT believes that children and young people have great needs, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. The Bible says, ‘Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it’ (Proverbs 22:6).
Furthermore, the Bible commands that ‘The commandment I give you today…You shall teach them diligently to your children…’ (Deut. 6:7). Therefore, OECT shall strive to provide a range of opportunities for children and young people to come to a safe yet exciting environment, where they can learn the word of God and experience Christian fellowship.
As for the young people, this ministry helps to nurture and disciple them for active participation in the mission work in the church and beyond. OECT works on Children and youth ministry to accomplish the objective of supporting them grow in their spiritual life with the intention to capacitate them in the ministry of the OECT and proclamation of the gospel.
